Ram Restaurant & Brewery

We like to stop into the Ram when we visit for our kids sport events. It's a great place for the team to sit and have a nice meal. They can accommodate the team and we all have a good meal

I always enjoy going to the Ram mostly due in part to
their excellent selection of microbrewed beer. Particularly
when the Mai Bock is in season! Great seasonal
ales & lagers, and burger plates to drool over.

They also have a sports bar, so if you're interested
in that type of entertainment, it is also available. The
food is good, but the beer is better!

The Beer and the Food is excellent. However, we usually spend 45 minutes or more waiting on food. We've spent more than 20 minutes waiting on beverages. The atmosphere is noisy, okay for a sports bar, except that you can't watch any of they're TV's without a neck-ache. Too expensive.

Although the service is always slow and they are a bit pricey, the food is among some of the best you will find.

"The Ram" has been one of Salem's most popular sports bars for a long while now. They have a good assortment of beers, food, and TVs for folks to partake in. Located right across from Willamette University, it serves as a nice spot for of-age students who want to kick back and relax at the bar. Prices are decent, the crowds do vary but it is never overly packed. It is surprising since the place is not all that large, but it sure is quaint.

Our family loves the Ram. Their menu has something for even the most finicky eater (my son). From Steak, to salads, Burger about 15 different kinds more...

The locally brewed beers are great, and taste even better with the meal that has it's mark for that particular beverage. Should you enjoy the beer, you can order a large jar for a reasonable price. The food is great, with the exception of the burgersnot so great. But don't let that prevent you from stopping in for an excellent meal. But don't be a hurry, because it takes a little longer than it should to get service as well as your meal, no matter how small or large.

PROS: Excellent Beer, Excellent atmoshpere for family and friends.
CONS: Service is lacking, takes longer than it should to recieve your beverage(s)

The ram has the best late night specials in the area. I believe that they begin after 9pm. They have an extensive special menu that is so much better than other breweries and most items are $1.99-$2.99. Their drink specials are also awesome. They have nights when their brewed beer is on special or their special twisted teas. These are more than half off on these nights or at late night. Also sundays is half off your entire bill including food and alcohol.
