Enviromax Landscape & Design

Enviromax Landscape & Design completed a paver and fence project in our backyard. They removed an old deck, fences and gate, then built a new pathway of Belgard pavers in an elegant design. They also removed the old wooden back porch and rebuilt the porch with the same pavers, and rebuilt the fences and gate with a tongue-and-groove cedar.
It was a pleasure meeting and working with Mack Sutphin, the Enviromax designer. More than the other three bidders, he had a vision for the whole job and communicated that vision clearly. His price was competitive. His willingness to meet our goals was most outstanding.
Mack and his crew started the job on the designated start date and finished on time. My wife commented, ?We?ve never seen men work harder. Their aim was to please, and they did!? We were relieved to see the whole job completed quickly and as planned, and we are thrilled with the transformation in our backyard.
We have no hesitation recommending Enviromax as a company that does excellent, timely, honest work, and addresses all of a customer?s concerns.

Mack and his crew were absolutely amazing. Mack is truly one of the most efficient contractors I have had the pleasure to work with. From design to completion of my retaining wall and patio, there was never a question or problem that wasn't answered immediately. I felt comfortable leaving the crew to their work without worrying that something would be done poorly. My project wasn't large but it was challenging and it exceeded my every expectation. I look forward to having Enviromax work on my next landscape project.

Embarking on a challenging slopped landscape project in mid-Fall is no easy feat, considering the rains in the PNW. Mack, Corey and crew were an impressive team that gained our support and deserve the accolades that is shared by many of their customers.

As customers, My wife and I know that we can be demanding, as well as indecisive at times. Mack always responded to our questions/requests. He and his team provided a high level of customer service and was committed to ensuring the we were pleased with the end result. Furthermore, several neighbors commented on their great work and clean up.

We evaluated six companies and we are confident that Enviromax Landscape & Design was the best choice for us. We highly recommend them.

They did what they said they would do. They completed the job on time, even though we made several changes during the work. We are so happy with the work they did to our back yard. They made the most of our space and they were much less expensive than the other bids we got. I will definitely use them again.

Our experience with Enviromax was very pleasant. We had seen their work at one of our neighbor's backyard, and liked it. We had a pretty steep 45 deg slope in our backyard, and were looking at ideas to utilize the land. A retaining wall was a must, but besides that something unique and aesthetic was desirable. Mack presented us with a few catalogs to look at, and some ideas to work with. Finally, my wife and I selected a concept and added few of our own ideas to it. Mack worked around the concept and drew out a design. I appreciated how flexible he was and willing to accomodate our ideas, although cautioning us if something would not work well. We worked pretty hard in making material selections for the patio and the retaining wall. Mack's experience and advice helped us in making sure our selections would work out well, however, the anxiety remains till the project is completed :). It was also important that we could get what we wanted in our budget. The final piece was getting the design from paper to reality. I commend the crew for doing a fantastic job. The workmanship was excellent. Mind you, there are variations in the project from the design, some of the design concepts do not appeal entirely when built. We appreciated that the crew was receptive to our feedback, made immediate corrections, and made sure it was to our liking. In the end, the project met our expectations. We love our backyard, and find it well worth the investment.

A few years ago I asked 3 companies to submit a landscaping plan and estimate for a redo of my front yard. Enviromax was one of them. I was very impressed with how quickly Mack got back to me, his extensive recommended plant list and scale drawing of my project. On that basis, I decided to hire Enviromax. They did a very good job and delivered exactly what I wanted. The gentleman who created my new dry stack wall was a true craftsman. Two years later I hired Enviromax again to completely overhaul my back yard, a project that included another dry stack wall, a water feature and all new plantings. I could not be happier with the results. Mack and his crew are excellent and I highly recommend Enviromax.

I hired Enviormax to install hardscape (patio with built in benches), irrigation, and a new lawn. I have never worked with a landscape company before, but they performed on schedule and for the price they promised. I was very pleased with the result. When it was all done, the front and back yard looked amazing. The lawn was like a perfect green carpet. It was what I always wanted. However, not even 1 month after the new lawn was layed out did the raccoons come and dig it up. This went on for months. When I asked Enviromax for advice on what to do about it, they said they would get back to me. But they never did, and I asked more than once. I ended up hiring Critter Control to take care of the raccoons, but they were hard to catch and by then it was too late and the lawn was destroyed. The perfect green carpet is now ruined and I don't know how to fix it.
Enviromax also said they were going to come back and make adjustments to my irrigation setting once the lawn was established. They still have yet to do so. I was not given good instructions on how to do it myself.
Despite the lack of follow through once the job was finished (I'm still hoping they may come and adjust the irrigation settings this Spring), I would recommend them based on how quickly and efficiently the crew worked, and stayed within the price that was quoted.

We used enviromax for a large scale landscaping job including a water feature. We could not have been more happy with the results. These guys did what they said they would do in the timeframe and for the cost that they committed to.

I hired these two young men to install hardscape with lots of drainage issues in a site with potential water issues. They performed well, on schedule, with no problems, and followed up as needed. I did not do a lot of price comparing, but from my general experience, they are well above average in competence and efficiency. They actually did what they promised, when they promised, for the price they promised!! What more need i say? What more may one ask for?

Our project was quite large with a substantial amount of hardscape including a stone retaining wall. Enviromax performed exactly as promised: on time, within budget, courteous, efficient, professional, creative and respectful of our property. The trees and shrubs they provided are excellent quality. We recommend Mack, Jeremy and their team without hesitation.
