Booktique

We regularly go to Booktique because you just don't know what you might find. They have withdrawn books from the library, but most of the books are actually donations. The prices are usually 50 cents or a dollar. On our latest trip though, we bought some very old books in wonderful condition that are no longer in print and they were still only a few dollars. It is like going on a treasure hunt!

These are used books from donations or the Lake Oswego library. There is a very good selection which allows you to find all those books you meant to read, but never got around to it. Prices are excellent.

Booktique is a cute little bookstore tucked into Mercantile Village. They have a great collection of over 40,000 books, both hardcover and soft. The store carries all sorts of genres and you are bound to find something to take home. The staff is friendly, the books are well organized, but the best part of shopping at Booktique is that all proceeds are put back into the Lake Oswego Library. This is one book purchase you can really feel good about. If you haven't stopped into Booktique you really should.

The Booktique is a fantastic store. All the book are priced just right and you can always find what you are looking for and sometimes things that you may not have known you were looking for. They have a very friendly staff. I would recommend everyone check out this store.
